Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and firm partner Charlie Gray joined JOYN as a founding member in 1991. He uses his 30 years of financial planning and investment experience to help address the financial needs of successful business and community leaders and their families.

Charlie combines his technical expertise with his ability to manage all aspects of his clients’ financial health. “I enjoy helping my clients feel more confident about their financial future so they can focus their incredible talents on achieving the goals they set for themselves,” he explains. “I have the privilege of helping amazing and successful people chart the course of their lives and maximize the value of all the tools they have at their disposal. It is a profoundly moving experience.”

In addition to working with his clients, Charlie serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and manages his JOYN team. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Charlie earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia.

A long-time Atlanta resident who takes a leadership role in his community, Charlie is actively involved in a variety of organizations, including Premier Resource Group, where he served as president. Charlie serves as an Elder at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, chairs its Finance/Administration Committee, and serves on the board of the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church Foundation, which he helped establish.

When he’s not meeting in person or on the phone with clients, Charlie finds happiness managing his church’s softball team, watching Braves baseball with his wife Lisa, and spending time with their adult children, Margo, Cameron, and Chris.
