You could say that Christie’s career choice is in her blood. “My dad is a financial advisor,” she explains. “My sister also worked in the industry, as does her husband. I’m a fast worker and am very detail oriented, so it’s a great fit for me as well.”

Christie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and spent 13 years in customer service roles before launching her financial career with oXYGen Financial. She holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Christie has claimed a number of states home – Virginia, Colorado, Georgia – and she greatly values spending time with family, both nearby and around the country. Other favorite hobbies include: reading, spending time with friends, and working out. She is also proud of her involvement with her church.

Plus: she loves to crochet! “My mom and mamaw taught me to crochet when I was young,” she explains. When her sister became pregnant with her second son, Christie re-taught herself so she could make him a baby blanket.
