Money & Wisdom: Get Wealthier Without Money

By David Geller   |   December 2, 2013

Which is more valuable to you:  your financial wealth or the wisdom you have accumulated during your lifetime?  If you had to give up one, which would you choose?

I would hold onto my wisdom.  My wisdom gives me the insights I need to build a life worth living. It helps me form close relationships, empowers me to create experiences that engage my passions, and encourages me to leave the world a little better than I found it.  Money can help in all of these areas, but without wisdom, even enormous wealth is not of much use.

Many of us count our money, but few of us count our wisdom.  Next time you are feeling poor because the market is down or you have experienced a setback in your business or your career, pause and reflect on your accumulated wisdom.  As you focus on your wisdom, you just might feel richer than you ever imagined.
