Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in financial services. Throughout her career, she has worked in nearly all aspects of the industry.  Jennifer began her career serving in operations. Later, she successfully built her career to include time as a trade assistant, operations manager, and financial advisor.  During her years as a financial advisor, Jennifer also added the responsibility of branch compliance supervision which later led to her role as Chief Compliance Officer of a regional RIA with over a billion dollars in assets under management.

“I didn’t have a plan to go into finance out of college. After my senior year I landed a job at a bank in Birmingham and I liked how everyday was different and something new to learn, you don’t learn everything about this industry in college.” This varied industry experience has led to Jennifer’s current role as Manager of Client Services at JOYN, allowing her to return to her roots and lead a team that supports advisors, clients and other departments of the firm.

Athletic and competitive, Jennifer learned to water ski as a child. “Watching my dad slalom made me want to learn to cut the water and send the spray high into the air like he did. When I was nine, he bought me my first set of skis and after I learned my parents couldn’t get me back in the boat. I can’t wait to teach my kids to water ski!” Jennifer and her husband Mark enjoy taking their children, son Ford and daughter Miller, to her parents’ house at Lake Martin. “Some of my best memories growing up are of spending summers at the lake with my family,” Jennifer explains.

She is a die-hard Auburn fan who loves college football.  Some of her other interests also include spending time with family and friends, reading, and cooking. Jennifer says, “I don’t have a favorite meal or dish to cook per se – but some of the best dishes are ones you don’t have a recipe for and create using what you have on hand.”
