Stefan Santavicca is a JOYN Client Services Administrator. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is pursuing his master’s degree in economics at Georgia Tech. “My predominant goal for pursuing my master’s studies in economics is to learn to look at the world through the lens of an economist and to gain the analytical toolbox produced by rigorous coursework in this field. I say this in a general sense because I intend to become a business owner down the road.” Before JOYN, Stefan worked at his family’s psychology private practice.
Stefan is a Marietta, GA. native who is a music artist. “I play the piano and guitar. I’ve been playing since I was a child although I was never officially in a band.” Another of Stefan’s passions is travel. “I like to travel and have visited many places. My absolute favorite cities have been London and Florence. What I most enjoyed about London was how easily I could explore the whole city, and equally, the vastness of the city. Each neighborhood has its own subculture, slang, and accent – something I found to be fascinating. Florence, on the other hand, is purely beautiful. The way all the historical architecture seamlessly contrasts with the water and natural landscapes. Unlike London, Florence has managed to maintain most of the historical structures in the primary tourist district, which makes for quite the spectacle.”
When not at JOYN or in class, Stefan also finds time for other hobbies such as rock climbing and cooking. “I enjoy rock climbing, as it is as much a mental exercise as it is a physical exercise; in fact, the more intelligently one climbs, the less physically strenuous a route can be.” Stefan’s favorite foods are chicken parmesan and pierogis. Stefan also likes to spend time with his parents and younger brother.
