You are among the most powerful people ever born.
Does that seem preposterous? It’s not. For much of human existence and in many parts of the world today, people spend virtually all of their time and resources just trying to stay safe and find sufficient food and shelter to survive.
You have more than enough money to meet your basic lifestyle needs, and probably a fair amount of money left over to spend as you wish. You are smart, educated, and resilient. You are surrounded, at work and at home, by other smart, influential people who you can turn to for support.
Although you may perceive yourself as not having enough time to get it all done, the truth is your jam-packed schedule is the result of choices you have made. You can choose differently, and refocus your time and attention.
Being powerful, however, doesn’t guarantee you will accomplish anything worthwhile.
To build a remarkable life, you must focus on what matters most to you. That is easier said than done. It requires us to hop off the merry-go-round of constant activity, slow down … pause … and get in touch with your own inner wisdom, so you can separate the important things in life from the most important.
Once you get in touch with what matters most, you can then focus your vast resources on those key areas as you strive to create the life you desire.
That’s the power of focus.
