GV Team Hosts Luncheon for At-Risk Teens

Earlier this month, GV’s Marc Lewyn, Cindy Wilson, and James Bonton hosted a “Leadership Lunch” for a group of students from West End Academy, a non-traditional school designed to address the needs of at-risk students who may or may not have been successful in a typical school environment.

Paul Gunderson, the former executive director of the C5 Youth Foundation, organizes and runs the Leadership Lunch program for West End seniors. The lunches provide an opportunity for students to visit different companies in various industries to meet with successful professionals.

“We really enjoyed meeting these interesting and inquisitive future leaders,” Marc said. “Their questions about what we do and how we help people kept Cindy, James and me on our toes and demonstrated that these West End seniors are focused on creating the future they desire.”
